The Daintree Rainforest

Our beautiful earth this week features the Daintree Rainforest which is located in Queensland The Daintree Rainforest is Australias largest rainforest. It’s home to over 430 species including; frogs, birds, marsupials, reptiles, bats and butterflies.

In 1988 it was added to the World Heritage List in recognition of its incredible ecological and biological diversity, which is over 135 million years old.
