Fresh Fruit & Veggie Juices

Super Healthy Juices

Fresh juices made out of raw veggies and seasonal fruits are the most invigorating health boosters that you could give your body.

They are loaded with vitamins, fibre and minerals that can lift your energy levels, cleanse you from the inside and load your blood and muscles with healthy goodness.

If you don’t have a juicer at home you can custom order your juice at some good juice bars.
We’ve included some of our variety of recipes for you to try out. Feel free to get creative and create your own concoctions out of your favourite fruit and veggies.

A basic rule of thumb if your watching your calories is to include 2-3 veggie services and 1 fruit.

If you prefer a smoothie just add 1/2 cup of plain yoghurt and 1 cup of ice and blend until smooth and creamy.

Apple, carrot, celery and ginger juice

This juice provides you with an invigorating start to the day. Contains beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C, calcium.

1 apple
1 carrot
1 orange
1 stalk celery
1cm piece ginger

Wash your fruits and veggies and cut them to size of your juicer. Put the apple, carrot, celery and ginger into a juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Apple, celery and beetroot

1 apple
1 stalk celery
1 small beetroot

Wash your fruits and veggies and cut them to size of your juicer. Put the apple, carrot, celery and ginger into a juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Pineapple, carrot, spinach and lemon juice

1/4 of a large pineapple, peeled cored and cut into cubes
1 carrot
2 cups spinach
½ lemon

Wash your fruits and veggies and cut them to size of your juicer. Put the pineapple, carrot, spinach and lemon into a juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Apples, Celery, cucumber, spinach

The green veggies are great for boosting your iron levels which is good fo a healthy blood cell and muscle function.

1 green apple
1 celery stalk
2 cups of spinach
1 cucumber
1/2 lemon

Wash your fruits and veggies and cut them to size of your juicer. Put the apple, celery, spinach, cucumber and lemon into a juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Pineapple, carrot, orange

1/4 of a large pineapple, peeled cored and cut into cubes
2 carrots
1 orange

Wash your fruits and veggies and cut them to size of your juicer. Put the pineapple, carrots and orange into the juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Spinach, celery, parsley and pineapple

2 cups of spinach
2 celery sticks
1/4 pineapple, peeled cored and cut into cubes
1 cup of parsley

Wash your fruits and veggies and cut them to size of your juicer. Put the spinach, celery, parsley and pineapple into the juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Immune booster

Ward off colds with a load of vitamin C.

2 oranges
1 lemon
1 kiwi
1 cup of spinach

Wash your fruits and veggies. Peel the oranges and kiwis, and cut them all to the size of your juicer. Put the oranges, lemon, kiwi and spinach into the juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Detox

High fiber root veggies adn fruit help your digestive tract stay in tip top shape.

1 Beetroot
2 carrots
1 apple
1/2 lemon

Wash your fruits and veggies. Peel the beetroot and lemon, and cut all the fruit and veggies to the size of your juicer. Put the beetroot, carrots, apple and lemon into the juicer. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Berry and mango Smoothie

1 cup of blueberries
1 cup of strawberries
1/2 mango
1/2 cup of plain yoghurt

Peel the mango. Wash all the berries well and blend them all in a blender. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.


Coconut water, Banana, pear and peach

Electrolyte loaded coconut water keeps you hydrated

1 banana
1 pear
1 peach
1 cup of coconut water

Peel the banana and blend all the fruits and coconut water together in a blender. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.
