We all love to feel pretty, and nail polish is a cheap and easy way to do it, unfortunately many nail polishes and removers contain toxic chemicals such as Butyl Acetate, Isopropanol (isopropyl alcohol), ethyl acetate, propyl acetate and chromium acetate hydroxide, among others. These ingredients can be irritating to eyes and lungs, depressive to the central nervous system and cause nausea and headaches and they are especially harmful to pregnant women with some of these ingredients proven to damage or kill foetuses in rats.
I’m not trying to scare everyone, I’m just letting you know that there are now plenty of non-toxic nail polishes and removers out there, some are listed below and our recent road test on Priti Polish and soy remover have shown they are just as good, quality wise, as their toxic competitors.
